Wellness

Wellness

South Park School District recognizes that student wellness and proper nutrition are related to students’ physical well-being, growth, development, and readiness to learn.  In a healthy school environment, students will learn about and participate in positive dietary and lifestyle practices that can improve student achievement.

An assessment of South Park School District wellness policy must be conducted a minimum of once every three years.

Wellness Committee Meeting

A school wellness committee is an action-oriented advisory group that focuses on the health and well-being of students, staff, and families in a school community. The school wellness committee implements the district wellness policy and leads other health-related initiatives.

All meetings are tentatively held in the Senior High Cafeteria at 10 AM. Check back for updates.

RSVP via email is required to Brandon Smoker:  [email protected]
