Officers
The South Park School District employees three members of its School Police Department. One Officer is stationed at each district school. All Officers, however, frequently visit each school building and work special events in the District.

Todd Naylor
Director of School Police
Stationed at South Park High School
Officer Todd Naylor joined the South Park School District in April 2017 after retiring from the Allegheny County Bureau of Police with 25 years of service. Officer Naylor has more than three decades of police experience. With Allegheny County Police, Officer Naylor worked as a detective and as a senior patrol officer. He also had law enforcement experience while working in Brentwood Borough, Homestead Borough, the City of Monessen, and Whitaker Borough.

Joe Pantuso

Officer Joseph Pantuso joined the South Park School District prior to the 2022-2023 school year after serving as a police officer in South Park Township for more than three decades. Officer Pantuso joined the South Park Township police after attending the Allegheny County Police Academy.
David Mares
School Police Officer
Stationed at South Park Elementary Center
Officer David Mares joined the South Park School District in February 2026. Officer Mares retired from the Pennsylvania State Police in September 2025 after nearly 22 years of service. Prior to serving as a Pennsylvania State Trooper, Officer Mares served our country as a United States Army Officer. Officer Mares served in the Army for more than eight years. He was deployed to Iraq from December 2003 to February 2005.
