Volunteers help to enhance the educational, co-curricular, and extracurricular programs of the District.
Any volunteer in a South Park School District school, whether volunteering during the school day or as part of an extra-curricular activity outside the school day, must have the proper clearances and be cleared by the South Park School District before participating in such volunteer activity. The South Park School District's Director of School Police coordinates all volunteer clearances.

Clearances
Act 34 - Criminal Record Check

Act 151 - Child Abuse Background Check
Click here to submit a PA Child Abuse History Clearance. You will need to create your own user log in information
Act 114 - FBI Background Check
Click here to begin the process of obtaining an FBI background check. Fingerprinting locations near you can be found by clicking here. Our Service Code for registration is 1KG6XN. Only to complete if you have not lived in the state of Pennsylvania for the past 10 years.
For Volunteers Only: If you have lived in Pennsylvania for the past 10 years, you do not need to complete the FBI Clearance. However, you must sign the FBI clearance affidavit which can be downloaded by clicking here, indicating that you are not disqualified from service based upon a conviction of an offense under PA School Code 6344 – Child Protective Services.
