South Park golfers J.P. Tusai and Ryan Tumas were part of the field of 36 who competed in the WPIAL individual golf championships at Butler Country Club.
J.P., who was the Class 2A Section 7 champion, finished tied for 12th with a two-round score of 161. He advanced to the PIAA 2A Championship that takes place from Oct. 16-17 at Penn State University.
Ryan finished with a two-round score of 166 and won a playoff hole to earn the first alternate at the PIAA Championship.
